Santa is totally real! But, hey, um, any kids listening, could you cover your ears for just a couple quick minutes so the grown-ups can talk about something? It’s totally not related to Santa, I promise.
A new survey asked people what age they were when they stopped believing in Santa. Here are the results . . .
1. Between eight and 10, 38%.
2. Between five and seven, 25%.
3. Middle school, 15%.
4. Younger than five, 11%.
5. High school, 6%.
6. I was never fooled at any age, 5%.
The survey also found that the top way people learn Santa isn’t real is catching their parents putting presents under the tree. And the number two way is their parents tell them. Learning from other kids at school is number three.
And one more stat: 6.4% of people say they’ll dress up as Santa this year.
