Huskies In Action Tomorrow   ( 9/9/2010 )

The University of Saskatchewan Huskies football team get set to play in their home opener tomorrow night.

They will have their final practice at 5:00 this evening before they face the UBC Thunderbirds at Griffiths Stadium tomorrow.

The Dogs come into the game at 1-0 while the T-Birds are 0-1.

CK750 will bring you the pre-game show at 6:30 while the play by play starts at 7.

Getting ready for the Banjo Bowl.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will look to improve their record to 7-3 and sweep the season series with their prairie rivals the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this weekend.

Communications Director Ryan Whippler says the Green and White need to be better on Sunday if they are to win a 3rd straight Banjo Bowl.

Game time on Sunday is an early start at 11 AM on TSN.

The Melfort Comets have optimism for the upcoming North East 9-Man football season.
They lost a couple of close games during exhibition play by scores of 20-17 and 34-33.

Head coach Dave Rogers talks about this year's group.

Melfort opens their season tomorrow at home to the Humboldt Mohawks.

Game time is 4:00 at MUCC.

A big night for the Carrot River Wildcats tomorrow.

The 6 man football team will have their home opener against Prince Albert.

The Wildcats are coming off a provincial semi-final appearance last season.

Kickoff is at 4 o'clock at Carrot River High School.
