Vittala was convicted of three counts of sexual assault.
The women testified they were groped by the former physician and Vittala admitted to hugging one patient...but he insisted it was to calm her, adding he called her to apologize for causing a misunderstanding.
Nuclear Report ( 7/29/2010 )
The author of a report on nuclear power says supporters have exaggerated the prospect of Saskatchewan exporting electricity from a nuclear facility.
The report by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives says building a nuclear power plant would be too expensive because of the construction costs.
It also says Saskatchewan would have to compete with lower cost hydro-electricity from B-C, Manitoba, Washington and Oregon.
Ontario-based Bruce Power had proposed building a large-scale nuclear plant in Saskatchewan, but the province said last December that it didn't support nuclear power at this time.
